São Paulo twisted by the (Liver)pool in Yokohama
This was how the São Paulo FC players celebrated after winning the World Club Championship against european champions Liverpool in the final, in the japanese city of Yokohama. A goal from Mineiro as enough for the brasilian team to overcome the "reds", but the goalkeeper Rogério Ceni was the "man of the match". This competition took the place of the European South American Cup, but at the end of the day, it was proven that even the best teams from the emerging football continents still don't have enough quality to measure themselves against the European and South American powerhouses.
